Anyhow, hoping to meet other women that go through this ,was surprised that we're all around the same age. I've had this for what seems like forever about 11yrs ,well when they figured it out anyhow. But we won't get started on doctors ,because i met all the bad ones. lol. Anyhow was having bad night & thought i just see if this was a group on here and it did surprise me. I live in a small town so, yeah, having people wonder why i'm an emotional basket is pointless here where i live,and i don't see much about in the cities nearby. just me & the cows,lol. not much of support group right?lol. Really ,i'm the type of person who is always there for someone ,especially going through this,because either other people don't understand what you're going through ,how bad it can be ,or just don't care & blow ya off . Guys , i've learned always want to fix things ,at least the ones i've dated ,and could never handle this with me. I'm married to a great guy who ,i know will,but it can be difficult at times ,sometimes i think he inches away & hides for a bit waiting for it to be safe . well, if i'm hurting he's by my side ,but then again it's the how do i make it stop & fix it ,with him. Most of the time i'm ok ,just every now & then . Like i said one of the bad nights . Hope i didn't scare anyone , if ya tried anything new that works for whatever let me know ,or just like to chat ,get in touch . Renee

My name is Katy, I'm thirty years old and I have had endometriosis since I was fourteen. I am in the process of trying to set up a support group in my home town of Yeovil, in England. I'm also really up for talking to other sufferers, to both give support and be able to talk to people who understand what it's like.

Generally my attitude is that any chance you have to make new friends has got to be good too, so really up for talking about other stuff too!

REGARDLESS.
i've just added myself to this group. i'm doing a big ass project on endo, how women's lives are effected by it. this project is what i need to do in order to graduate university -- i'm a womens studies student at uvic, bc, canada.
in a few weeks i'm going to be conducting an online standard ANONYMOUS questionnaire, including a web-based discussiong group, a couple of 'em, as many as participants want.
lemme know if you might be interested. i'm doing the "recruiting" process in about a month's time.
